The chess-results server lists 26 event dates between 28 January 2025 and 15 December 2026 that match Riga Chess Club (Rīgas Šaha klubs) by organiser, venue or title fields. The latest of them before this check is dated 13 October 2026. The server also carries 2 later dated entries, the next on 10 November 2026. The page of the fourth 2026 stage (14 April 2026) states an entry age of 18 and prizes from the pub, and a Wanderlog listing describes the pub as popular with chess players. The member register of the Latvian Chess Federation lists it as an active member club with the city printed as Rīga. The club's own site (copyright 2026) says chess fans are welcome any day, that weekends can be busy in the pub, and that members are offered a board, an electronic clock and a 20% discount on the bar bill when they show a membership card (post dated 19 January 2024). It lists tuition: a study plan, consultation games and post-tournament analysis.
