Blitz tournaments in Riga and Pierīga 6

Blitz tournaments around Riga often share a day with rapid. Baldone holds its rapid and blitz championships together, Sigulda plays the Milda Lauberte memorial blitz beside its district rapid, and Jūrmala Chess Open in Lielupe has blitz among its sections. Rudaga Kaissa, also on Bulduru prospekts in Jūrmala, lists blitz with its rated games.

The Latvian student championships include blitz, and Pranamat Academy has run blitz in its series on Kārļa Mīlenbaha iela. The numbered blitz stages of Riga Chess Club at Victory pub are filed with the clubs. Time controls and entry details are in each listing, and every card links to the pages it rests on.
