Clubs in Riga that play blitz 5

Blitz is the club game in several Riga clubs. Riga Chess Club runs numbered blitz stages at Victory pub on Tirgoņu iela, and one stage page prints an entry fee with a lower rate for seniors, students and women. Šaha klubs “3+2” and Baltijas Šaha Akadēmija hold open blitz tournaments at Aspazijas bulvāris 32, and the chess club of the Riga Latvian Society on Merķeļa iela ran a numbered blitz series in 2025.

Outside the city, Siguldas šaha klubs lists blitz with its rapid events in Sigulda. The cards give the dates found on the tournament server and link to each listing, where the time control and the hall of every stage are printed.
